O cantor, compositor e produtor musical brasiliense de rock e blues Rafael Cury é dono de uma voz rasgada e de registro agudo. Estudou canto e engenharia de som no Musicians Institute (Califórnia) e é conhecido por seus trabalhos com Celso Salim, Dillo D’Araujo e Os Poortas, entre outros artistas. Atualmente, se lança em carreira solo com seu cd de estréia “Trapped in the Past” (GRV Discos), um disco de rock clássico, vigoroso e psicodélico, repleto de referencias setentistas. Rafael apresenta seu novo trabalho muito bem acompanhado pelos Booze Brothers, banda formada por Anderson Nigro (Makina du Tempo, João Ninguém, P.U.S.) na bateria; Marcelo Marssal (Dillo Daraujo, Celebration Band) no baixo; e Vitor Fernandes(Celebration Band, Marssal) e Gleisson Chaves (Ummaghumma, Sgt. Pimenta - tributo a Beatles) dividem as guitarras.

The Brazilian singer, songwriter and producer Rafael Cury started his career in 1995 as the lead singer of a local band and also as engineer in his own studio named Hi-Fi. In 1998 Rafael moved to Los Angeles, California, he graduated as a recording engineer at Musicians Institute, where he also had vocal lessons with Carol Rogers and Chuck Plaisance. With a voice that sounds like a mix of Joe Cocker, Ian Gillan and Paul Rogers, Rafael has worked with many bands such as Dillo D’Araujo & Crocodillo Gang, Celso Salim and Carol Fazu, and also the Doors, Black Crowes and ZZ Top tribute bands. Nowadays he is releasing his debut solo album “Trapped in the Past” (GRV discos), which was produced with Celso Salim.

Rafael Cury, cantante, autor y productor brasileño comenzó su carrera en 1995 como cantante de una banda local de Brasília y también como ingeniero de su propio estudio llamado "Hi-Fi". En 1998, Rafael se mudó a Los Angeles, California, graduándose con el título de Ingeniero de Grabación en el Musicians Institute, donde además tuvo lecciones de canto con Carol Rogers y Chuck Plaisance. Con una voz que suena igual que Joe Cocker, Ian Gillan y Paul Rogers, Rafael ha trabajado con muchos grupos y artistas musicales tales como Dillo D’Araujo & Crocodillo Gang, Celso Salim y Carol Fazu, y por supuesto con bandas tributo a The Doors, Black Crowes y ZZ Top. Hoy en día Rafael se encuentra lanzando su nuevo álbum debut solista "Trapped in the Past" (Atrapado en el pasado) (GRV Discos).
